This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. On every visit the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referrer, browser type and operating system. These are stored in log files to deliver the site and keep it secure, and deleted after seven days at the latest.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is running the website securely and reliably.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and embeds nothing from social media platforms. Fonts and app images are served from our own server.

Blog

Blog articles and their images are loaded from neatic.org and www.neatic.de, which we also operate. Your IP address is sent to those servers when they load. The neatic.org privacy policy covers processing there.

Links to the App Store and Google Play

The store badges are plain links. Only when you click one do you go to Apple or Google, whose privacy policies then apply.

The Zutalis app

Photos, and the ingredient text read from them, are processed only on your device and never sent to us. The app needs no account and contains no analytics or advertising services.

The app uses the camera and your photos only when you scan a label or pick a picture yourself.

To keep the marker list current, the app downloads it from our server at neatic.de. This processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Contact info@neatic.org.
